Pending Legislation: West Fort Bend Water Authority

CITY COUNCIL MEETING SCHEDULED FOR April 7th, 2013

Fort Bend County Judge, Robert Hebert will speak to the Simonton City Council on matters related to the pending West Fort Bend Water Authority at Tuesday Night’s City Council Meeting scheduled for May 7th, 2013 at 6:30 pm. If you have in interest, please do make plans to attend. Although the meeting will not be a public forum or town hall meeting, it will be a great opportunity to learn more about this important issue. Note: It is the City’s understanding that Simonton residents will not be directly impacted since we are all on private residential water wells. However, this legislation may impact our city’s ability to provide municipal water services in the future.
